After receiving many awards from various magazine and online publications, Epic announced that they will be re-releasing Unreal Tournament 2004 as Unreal Tournament 2004: Editor's Choice Edition.
The gameplay will remain the same as the original game. But, what is different in the re-release is the number of added extras.
The biggest addition to the game will be the three new vehicles available in Onslaught mode, the Cicada, the Paladin, and the Self-Propelled Mobile Artillery (or SPMA). The Cicada is two-man flying vehicle where one person can pilot while the other mans a belly turret. The new Paladin vehicle is a heavy tank that has both offensive and defensive capabilities. As for the SPMA, you can get an idea of what it is just by reading its name.
Three other notable features included in the Editor's Choice Edition are more maps for each gameplay mode, six new models to choose from, and the inclusion of anywhere between eight and eleven mods (mods such as AirBuccaneers, Clone Bandits, and Alien Swarm).
